Deputy Director-General of China Remote Sensing Satellite Ground Station in 1995.
Starting from November 2000, as Director-General of China Remote Sensing Satellite Ground Station.

Career: Prof. Chao WANG received the Ph.D. degree from Nanjing University,
China in 1989. Since then he has involved in several national and international
SAR remote sensing projects, including the SIR-C/X-SAR program, Japanese
JERS-1 SAR verification program, Canadian Radarsat ADRO program, ERS
program, ENVISAT program, etc. He is currently the Deputy Director General
of China Remote Sensing Satellite Station, Chinese Academy of Sciences,
Beijing, China. He is in charge of several projects funded by the National
Natural Science Foundation of China and Chinese Hi-tech Program (863
program) on radar remote sensing. His interests include microwave remote
sensing, InSAR, PolInSAR and applications.
